THE INNER CHILD

The Inner Child is a perpetual optimist. They see only the good in people and are pure at heart. This Archetype craves happiness, harmony and the simple things in life. They inspire others to do good. Their unshakeable faith allows them to power through any challenge they face even if they lack the maturity to understand how to optimize what they have done.

The Shadow side of Inner Child can be dangerously naïve, putting themselves, others, and projects in jeopardy. They can be overly dependent and needy, unable to step into mature action. This Archetype struggles with adult responsibilities such as finances, leadership, and life-management skills, and often get distracted from such tasks by daydreaming. Their emotional and social intelligence is often immature and reactionary.

IN RELATIONSHIPS…

The light side of the Inner Child brings a lot of imagination and playfulness to the relationship. They can be very trusting and love to be guided and included. They love to see the good in everything and everyone. In the shadow side they demand a need for safety and security. They can be immature and reactive. They are prone to drama and need a lot of attention to feel seen. They also can struggle with setting healthy and supportive boundaries.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BECOMING A SHADOW COACH?

A Shadow Coach is someone who, even in the midst of chaos, can access an inner compass and map that can guide and direct others’ footsteps along their journey. They embody their own healing and transformation in order to show others the way. They compassionately hold sacred space and steadfastly witness those moving through a breaking open process. They are committed to internal freedom and true integration of ALL aspects of the human experience. Shadow workers have been seen for thousands of years as torches in the midst of darkness.
